Take a Bus Ride and Visit The Smokehouse

Greetings, Fellow reader of Highland Newsletter,

Chinese New Year cherry blossoms and décor at 1-UChinese New Year has come and gone bringing with it the year of the dog. I know, I know, it has already passed and will be officially over on the 15th day of Chinese New Year.

And what have I been doing? More like gorging myself with New Year dinner gathering, New Year cookies and tidbits, and going from one relative house to another. Busy!

Well, despite the limited time, I managed to cobble together some material and added a few pages here and there.

The Smokehouse Hotel

Ye Olde Smokehouse Hotel and Restaurant by the Golf Course at Tanah Rata, Cameron Highlands.Let's start off with The Smokehouse Hotel. The Smokehouse Hotel is modelled after the Smokehouse in Mildenhall, UK and it has a country house charm to it. Design and built by Colonel Stanley Foster, it has a typical 'olde English' flare to it.

Have a look at some photos of Smokehouse that I put together. Makes you want to have your afternoon cup of tea at this place anytime, yes?

Apartment Accommodations

For plus size family who just can't fit into a standard hotel room, there are the apartments in Cameron Highlands that should do the trick. Check out the Arabella Apartment and see if it fits.

Getting There by Bus Coach

And finally, for those who don't have a car or would prefer to use public transportation to get around to Cameron Highlands can have a look at the bus/coach page.

Looks like this year would be a busy one, so don't forget to plan yourselves a nice getaway with your family and friends. You know you deserve the break!

P.S.: As informed, my newsletter will be irregular, so you might receive this newsletter as a surprised! Nope, I won’t send you too many newsletters in a month lest I’ll be complained upon. You will receive one every now and then, and hopefully you will be pleasantly surprised…

P.P.S.: Oh, by the way, do me a favour and pass along the newsletter to whomever might be interested. Thanks!
