Highlander Newsletter, Issue #012 Travel Videos Tour and Community Forum Board.
September 20, 2007

Welcome to another edition of Highlander Newsletter!

It is the Ramadhan month and many of our Muslim friends will be having their daily fast. It will go on till 13th October that's when we will all celebrate the end of the month long fasting with Hari Raya Adil Fitri. The holidays will fall on a Saturday and Sunday which also makes Monday automatically a public holiday. Could be a time to block off your calendar to visit the beautiful Cameron Highlands. As usual it will be a super-peak period so please do your accommodation and travel bookings well in advance if you are planning for a trip. Also do note it might be very crowded so plan your trip well to avoid all the congestion expected during this time.

So let's see what have been updated on the website. I've been playing with some video recently, though I'm just using the video function of the camera, I still managed to string up a few short video clips. It's rather amateurish but I believe it gives a good overview. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth much more!

Check out the videos:

I have finally started a forum bulletin board for the exchange of information for visitors just like you to share and discuss about your experiences in Cameron Highlands. Although the feedback page was good, it was only a two-way communication process. By using the bulletin board, other users like you can give your two cents worth of your opinions and recommendations. It is rather bare now, so hopefully it will be populated with your contribution. So please do sign up and start the ball rolling!

During the Merdeka weekend, I did pop by Cameron Highlands for a quick sojourn. There was a new attraction called the Time Tunnel. It was a simple place. Anyway here's my review and you can decide for yourself whether it will be worth your while for a visit.

Idil, a regular reader of recently gave me a blog about his trip. Check out his blog and see how he plan it. Perhaps it might give you some ideas on planning your trip to the great highlands!
