Singapore and Malaysia Public Holidays and School Holidays 2011
It is the start of the New Year 2011 and I've been busy distributing my work office calendars to my customers. Apparently many companies has been cutting back on their calendar and diary distribution, so for those who didn't get any and need the Malaysian Public Holidays and School Holidays of 2011 for their leisure and vacation planning, you could look it up in this post.
While I am at it, I may as well post up the Singapore Public Holidays and School Semester Breaks of 2011 since I know many Singaporeans also liked to travel to Cameron Highlands for their holiday vacation getaway.

When to go Cameron Highlands?
I noticed there are several super long weekends. Years ago, I would eye those particular long weekends for planning my holiday vacation getaway be it in Cameron Highlands or elsewhere for some cuti-cuti Malaysia travel holiday. However starting from a few years ago, planning for such visit to Cameron Highlands on these super long weekends is not a good idea. Cameron Highlands is very popular now and the super peak periods would give rise to many tourist arrivals locally. Since there is actually no room for road expansion, Cameron Highlands could no longer cope with so many tourists. Thinking about it, the road in Tanah Rata and Brinchang, Ringlet, Tringkap, Kampung Raja and Kuala Terla pretty much stayed the same since from the days when I started driving to Cameron Highlands for holiday. In addition, the price of accommodation for hotels and apartments would be rather exorbitant too!
So it would be best if you could avoid going to Cameron Highlands on such super peak long weekend. Also note, whenever Malaysian holidays coincide with Singapore holidays, it would be a double jam time! You won't catch me going to Cameron Highlands during those time unless I absolutely have to!
So plan your trip wisely and enjoy your stay with good stories about Cameron Highlands rather than grouses about traffic jams and expensive accommodation!
Cheers!
