Post subject: Greetings from Singapore
Hi there,
This is Roger Loh from sunny Singapore!
I truly enjoy the highlands in Malaysia, having been to all BIG 3: Cameron, Genting and Fraser... it's really COOL (no pun intended).
Can't wait to drive up there to savor the scenery once again.

Big 3? What about Bukit Tinggi? I've not been to Bukit Larut (Frazer hill) but been to Cameron Highlands (CH) , Genting and Bukit Tinggi... I still prefer CH, second is Bukit Tinggi (especially the Japanese Garden) and Genting is third on my list.

Post subject: Pahang tourism ranking
Pretty much correct about the big 3 highlands. The ranking of tourist destination to Pahang in 2005 were listed as:
1) Genting Highlands
2) Kuantan
3) Cameron Highlands
4) Tioman Island
5) Fraser's Hill
6) Termerloh
7) Taman Negara
Of course I still like CH best even though it was ranked #3.

Post subject: tour guide
Whoa! I'm just an office worker punching in from 9-6 five days a week. Trying to fancy myself as a travel writer. Maybe still got some ways to go before achieving something of an author. But working as a tour guide? No thanks. Not sure I can pull that off.
However there are many tour guides around Cameron Highlands. They have fixed itinerary which you could choose for your day trip. You can see many of them in Tanah Rata. Their sales booth are rather small, just a kiosk here and there. I have not tried any of them, but I'm sure you could check them out easily and pick one.
Cheers!
