Kuala Lumpur Tourism

From Kuala Lumpur tourism to Cameron Highlands Malaysia. The first stop to Malaysia by incoming flight is usually Kuala Lumpur. Other way in by flight would be via Penang. And lastly by road would usually be from Singapore, though I have spotted some vehicles bearing Thailand car plates roving around the highlands, probably visitors from southern Thailand. Because to drive all the way down from Bangkok would take about 3 days!

The distance from Cameron Highlands to Kuala Lumpur is about 220km and it would take about 3 hours non-stop driving. Of course if you like to admire the scenery or take teh tarik breaks along the way you probably have to throw in an extra one hour to your drive. Buses take longer due to speed limitation and frequent breaks. Give or take about 5 hours for your journey.

So what about Kuala Lumpur tourism? Well, I figure that I have made a very successful website about Cameron Highlands, why not try my hand at making a Kuala Lumpur Tourism website. After all, I'm living next to it, practically grew up in it. Perhaps I may be able to create a different spin and stand apart from all the other Kuala Lumpur websites around. Could be tough; as they said belum cuba, belum tau (never try never know).

So here goes nothing.

I've set up some RSS feeds here for preview. Well if you like the stories, you could follow the link and read more about it. Kuala Lumpur is a huge place, much bigger than Cameron Highlands, so it is going to take awhile to put up a proper website. Wish me luck!
