Tanah Rata Cameron Highlands
Travel Destination Video Tour

Here is a quick travel destinations video tour of Tanah Rata Cameron Highlands starting from one end of the main road and ending at the bus terminal at the other end of town. You can easily cover Tanah Rata on foot. With the nice cool weather of the highlands, walking around is the perfect way to explore the area.

The main street of Tanah Rata is full of activities. You can hunt around for a souvenir or two, or just simply wind down in the many restaurants and stalls and have your cup of teh tarik, roti chanai or satay; or perhaps get your portrait drawn by the street artist. Looking for more to do? There are many tour operators along the street as well; check out each one and see which one offers the best tour of Cameron Highlands.

Tanah Rata town isn't such a big place. You can walk from one end to the other and with the cool weather of Cameron Highlands, you won't break into a sweat too! The video is simple, just a quick walk through from end to end of the main street. Of course if you truly explore Tanah Rata it is much bigger than that.

There is a junction turning off from the bus terminal where you pass by a big football field and following that would lead you pass MARDI and onwards to the Robinson Falls. You would spot the colourful Arabella Apartments high up on hill on your right as you walk along this stretch. There are also some small roads here leading to other housing area as well too.

On the road from Habu (Tapah direction) there is another area called Taman Royal Lily. There are more buildings here including apartments, shops and some houses here too. Worth exploring.

If you include the above two areas, walking all over Tanah Rata would take some doing, and that's when you have some mode of transportation like a car or at the very least a bicycle, you can then fully explore this Tanah Rata town ship in Cameron Highlands.
